Can anyone tell me the boiling point of clear rock quartz crystal in degrees F?
I'm trying to debunk a miners claim that his naturally formed quartz crystals have ';titanium gas inclusions'; which would seem impossible. I would think that the almost 6000 degrees F needed to turn titanium into a gas would also destroy the clear quartz points. I doubt that a quartz forming hydrothermal vug could even produce such a temp.Whats the boiling point of Clear Quartz?
Quartz =Silica:
Melting point 1650 (卤75) 掳C
Boiling point 2230 掳C
F=CX1.8 + 32
