It's not easy to really clear your mind. Thoughts tend to jump in at random. But, it is possible through meditation. There are several forms of meditation. The one I like best goes like this:





Sit in a very comfortable position. You want all the muscles in your body to be able to relax. Breathe slowly and deeply. Start from the top of your head and conscientiously relax every muscle down to the tips of your toes one at a time. Concentrate on your thoughts. Let them come in to your mind and let them leave without dwelling on them. Focus on a sound. Do this until you feel all the stress of the day exit your body.





The state of mind whereby a person has no thought, no stress and no anxiety is known as serenity. There is no drug, no money, no sex, no love that can compare with it. Serenity, although it never lasts long is complete contentment. How about a suggest to help you clear your mind and relax during a extra stress week ; 10 points if it helps.?

Deep breathing. It sounds stupid but it works so well. Just breathe deeply and steadily for at least 3-4 minutes, it will relax muscles you didn't even know were tensed up.





Also, booze always helps once you're done studying.
SEX! Of course playing my guitar also helps me to relax.
