At what point does it become clear god is no longer listening?

I lost my job in August, since then i made some bad choices, not like illegally or anything, but just bad money choices. So i pray, I pray I ask and talk. I have attained a new job, not as good as the one before, but it pays the bills. People say i should be grateful for what I have, but I am bustin my butt to get ahead, and moving backwards. I did better when I was doing bad. So does god no longer accept my calls? At what point does it become clear god is no longer listening?
No one's on the other end.At what point does it become clear god is no longer listening?
god is always accepting or listening to your prayers. He knows what is best for you and you will have to wait and be patient with everything. God has a plan for you and you are being tested all the way. be grateful that you even have a job, have a house, family, love, etc. GOD IS ALWAYS LISTENING! like i said before you just have to be patient and trust that he knows what he is doing.
I would suggest you start tithing 10% of your gross income. I started years ago when I couldn't pay my bills and even though I tithed and had less money, I also had enough. One time I didn't have any money and nothing to cook for dinner. So I prayed and then thanked God for supplying my need and then just trusted that he would supply. Later that day, there was a knock on my backdoor and a neighbor stood there with half a ham and said they had cooked a whole ham and wanted to know if I wanted half. Wealth isn't just money. It's having a God who can do anything and loves us. That neighbor was not in the habit of doing that and it never happened again. It clearly was an answer to my prayer. But I knew God would come through. You need to believe and not doubt, and he'll never let you down. God bless!
God is ALWAYS listening! You prayed and He answered! You now have a job that pays the bills and you are able to get up every morning so YES God is still listening! As far as 'getting ahead'..Be patient, in my experience, God has given me what I call a ';Greater Yes'; An answer to my prayers..and remember God is ALWAYS on time!
Please don't take me wrong, because I'm in the same boat.

God never offered to put a magic spell on us to protect us from the consequences of our own mistakes. Read about what happened to David's and Solomon's family after they made mistakes.
God does everything for a reason. and right now im very sure hes testing ur faith. hes testing u by u being in hard times. r u gonna stay loyal to him or turn away from him? stay loyal. just wait. pray and pray until u can pray no more. if you ask you shall recieve. god is testing u just take that test, stay loyal, be with him, and ace the test. things will start to turn around for the good.
Take a deep breath. Find the positive in what's going on. Sometimes we get so caught up in the potholes, we forget where it is we're going. Things can ALWAYS be worse, believe me. Accept and enjoy the road you're on and keep moving. You never know what lays around the next bend, or the next. God answers our prayers - but not always the way we want.
He's always listening to you, but he's just not answering in the way that you're thinking. I know how it feels..I have been praying desperately and never lost my faith, but at one point I thought, is He listening? I should be thankful for what I have, but I didn't feel like He was listening. Still, I knew I had faith in Him and didn't give up. Little by little I started to realize that He's changing me...I've started to read the Bible, I pray to Him, I praise Him by singing His songs joyfully, all because I wanted Him to help me so I stepped closer. There's always a reason He makes things happen...Don't give up on God, one day you'll know his good plan that he has for everybody!! I will pray for you..prayer really helps :)
God is not a genie in the sky waiting to fulfill your will..he is your Father in heaven waiting for you to truly seek him..there are many reasons why God does not seem to (even though he does) answer prayers, one is because of our motives. He is there listening-- don't stop believing just because he is not fulfilling your every whim.
I've been where you're at. It sucks! To answer your question-

It's hard to say. In my experience (for that story look here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article鈥?/a> ) there is always an opportunity of some kind coming in the trials of our lives...
God is never NOT listening. But you might just be headed in the wrong direction that he has planned for you. Maybe he's trying to turn you around.
The true benefit in talking to God is in listening to God.

Listen. Really, truly listen.
Sometimes, what we think is best for us isn't really best for us.
