Points encourage participation. The more points you have, the more questions you can ask and answer every day.
You loose 5 points every time you ask a question. You can gain 3 back when you choose a best answer to it. You gain 2 points for every answer you give. You can earn 1 point for every best answer you vote for for unresolved questions.
