I was amaized as well. this happened because Liverpool had played 25 games and Man united only 24. They won the 25th yesterday so went ahead with 5 points. The reason why the match was held yesterday, in the middle of the week is unknown to me...
they have finally made up the games they missed due to playing in FIFA Club World Cup and earlier in UEFA Super Cup. Now that they have as many games as everyone else they are 5pts clear!!
they played Fulham yesterday and won 3-0 if thats what you mean.... also they are the best and have won like the last 9 games
