I have been using proactive a little over a week and seen some results. In what time frame will it take proactive to completely clear up my skin to the point I virtually have no acne?How long does it take for proactive to completely clear up acne? 10 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Different acne treatments work differently for different people ;-) but I have compiled some info on Proactiv for you, based on reported experience:
Proactiv Negatives
===================
- irritating
- dry out skin
- expensive to keep having it sent to you month after month
- clear face up, but as soon as you stop using it the acne might come back
- it bleaches the cloth...
- doesn't seem to work as well on blackheads
- skin became darker
- temporarily red in areas
- slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion
Proactiv Positives
===================
- really does work
- clears your face up pretty quickly
- leaves your face feeling soft
- reduce the appearance of poresHow long does it take for proactive to completely clear up acne? 10 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Depends on your acne, and the cause of your acne. Acne is usually hormonal. For some it works, and for some it doesn't. You just might be one that it doesn't work for. If you really want results, see a dermatologist. They cost a bit more, but give you great options. All Proactive is is Benzol Peroxide and witch hazel, which dries out infection and helps keep oil low. But some types of acne just don't respond to Proactive.
But if it does end up working for you, give it a t least a month or even 2 to see if there are results, as acne can be cyclical.
It depends on your facial chemistry and how severe the acne is. Severe acne will take a lot longer than moderate acne will. There really is no clear cut way of telling. Also, everyones face reacts differently to products such as this. I have moderate acne and I noticed no results at all.
Proactive can take any wear from a week to essentially never. i have a friend who suggested it to me and her skin cleared up in virtually a weekend. however proactive had never worked for me and has only made my complexion worse.
needless to say i don't use it.
it would probably be best to go see a skin specialist to properly diagnose what your skin type needs
Normally with any kind of acne or pimple cleanser it will probably take from about 1-2 weeks depending on how bad your acne was and how oily your skin is.If it doesn't make much of a difference by then I would suggest you try Neutrogina Pink grapefruit scrub.I have used it many times and has cleared up slight acne.But I can't speak for others.
I hope I helped.
= )
Proactiv is worthless or at least, I saw very minimal results with it. The only thing that worked for me was skin perfection, and it only took about 3 days to get rid of most of my acne. After 2 weeks it was completely gone and I haven't had an outbreak in 6 months. Free trial at the link below. Good Luck!
Depends on how severe your acne is, it should continue to disolve at the rate it is now. so if half of your acne is clear, the it should be another week. just be patient!
It all depends. Everyone is different, I would give it at least six months, and if you don't see a great improvement by then, I would go see a skin specialist. Good Luck.
