Isn't it clear ABA was the lowest point of Undertaker's career ? Why do some people still love that gimmick ?

No disrespect, but Taker looked like a total loser when he was the ABA :

1. Maven eliminated him

2. Cops jailed him

3. So many times he was attacked backstages

4. Crappy feuds (DDP, Show-A Train, Cena)

5. He talked a lot which entirely destroyed his coolness

6. He wasn't dark anymore

7. Lesnar totally owned him

8. His indestructible aura was nowhere to be found

9. He's a mid-carder. Rock, Austin, Lesnar, HHH, and Angle totally owned the main event spot when he was only a filler.

10. Finally, Vince buried him (alive)

I'm totally glad he returned as the Deadman which totally fits him!!

So, any reasons on liking ABA? If all you wanna say is he talks a lot and he's faster to the ring, forget it, doesn't suit his dark gimmick. Find another reason or agree with me!!Isn't it clear ABA was the lowest point of Undertaker's career ? Why do some people still love that gimmick ?
Agree , BUT there was a REASON 'Taker became the ABA.

Following 9/11 , America was in need of Someone to Stand Behind.

The ABA Gimmick Embodied the US Fighting Spirit , %26amp; as Vince Said on that SD Live Show on 9/13 - The Embodiment of ';We Will NOT Live in Fear.';

And Mark Calaway being the Super Patriot that he is , Offered to Change his Gimmick to Suit that Need.

The Gimmick may have Played itself Out , %26amp; He may have Gotten Owned , But he Did what Needed to be Done at the Time.

I still Found the ABA/Big Evil Gimmick to Be Entertaining.

Although it may Not have been his Best Work.

You gotta Admit , A Big Tattooed up Guy Riding a Harley is Awesome.

Plus , He DID Still Become Champion while doing the ABA/Big Evil Gimmick.Isn't it clear ABA was the lowest point of Undertaker's career ? Why do some people still love that gimmick ?
I thought he was cool then cause he rode those motorcycles down to the ring and kept rollin' rollin' rollin' what? Keep rollin' rollin' rollin'. Breathe in and breath out(this isn't a joke cause he got buried alive that was just part of his WM X9 entrance)back up back up whatcha gonna do now rollin' rollin' rollin' (then start over and add more sh!t to this)
I loved the ABA gimmick. I just don't see why WWE didn't just give that gimmick to someone else. Why Undertaker? He already had a great gimmick going for him. Why ruin a good thing? Anyway, you're right.

I always find Undertaker entertaining though, even through the ABA era'.
Well I with you his dead man gimmick is way better but I think the reason most people like his ABA gimmick better was for the fact the he had more of a personalty
I think the Deadman gimmick is better but u got one thing wrong

Undertaker did get arrested in 99 while he was the Deadman in astryline with Vince Mcmahon unless U mean his return to the gimmick in 2004 and after
yes he plays the deadman so much better. but i didn't really mind ABA he was still a popular superstar.
Deadman is the better gimmick for undertaker. but i like ABA better
i totally agree.

The Deadman is the better gimmick for him.
His WM Record Continued with ABA LOL
i liked when he chased X-PAC and Mad Dog backstage on the motorcycle after a match with X-PAC
agreed
Well he was the ABA during an era of a National Cry. With the whole September 11 thing going on, people need something to entertain them and take their minds off the real world, and whats better than a true American BA? It was a symbol of the Darkside of Patriotism
