When an atheist explains their beliefs they are articulate,to the point and clear. Why?

Because they don't have too much to explain. When an atheist explains their beliefs they are articulate,to the point and clear. Why?
That's a generalization that is not totally true. There are some atheists who have trouble coherently expressing their thoughts.

When it is true, though, it might have to do with the reality that many atheists have come to their conclusions through a tremendous amount of introspection and study. These activities tend to clarify thought and make people more able to express themselves.

You might also notice that many of the faithful around here are articulate, to the point, and clear. You'll also notice that these are the people who found their faith after a tremendous amount of introspection and study.

It seems that neither faith, nor lack of faith bring this out in a person, but rather the amount and quality of time they invest in forming their opinions. When an atheist explains their beliefs they are articulate,to the point and clear. Why?
Speaking for myself only. Not all atheists are like that. We got our bad eggs too. I try to be as clear as I can be without being too verbose (guilty!). I try to be to the point cuz I know many people have better things to do than to sit at the computer all day to read a blog. If they wanted a blog, Yahoo 360 has it.

I try to give short answers when I can cuz I have *thought* about what I believe. I have analyzed why I believe it. I have analyzed where did I get this belief from. I repeat those answers (what I believe or don't believe, the reasons behind them, where beliefs came from, etc) to others here cuz the questions about atheism is repeated. :-)
Maybe because they haven't been brainwashed by the church yet. The can speak freely what they feel and think. They might also not be as emotional, since they have nothing to lose. (Like the believe in god)
Because they've come to a position in life themselves, rather than having been told what to believe for their entire lives. Things are so much easier to explain when you knwo the answers and arent just given excuses such as ';its faith!';
Because they copy thier responses from other websites. I have 20 emails from diffrent Atheists. They all gave the same response.

The average athiest clings to science but lacks the understanding or education to repeat what they found.

Your average athiest is between the ages of 13 to 25 or 35 to 45.
Because we're smarter than everyone else, have better researched positions, and are nicer, richer, and better looking as well.
depends on the athiest really.
I agree with imadufus72, it depends on the particular person. Some are more articulate than others. I myself want to be understood when I write, so I try hard to do it correctly.
because it takes a lot of nonsense to explain why a person would believe in nonsense.

it takes a lot of twisting and turning to explain that a person beliefs in a fairy-tale.

it's quit easy for me to always explain why i believe in common sense, reason and logic. So, we atheists have it easy actually. when beliefs are logic, the explanation will also be logic.
That's just the way they know how to tell people their beleifs.
so there won't be any misunderstanding
Because they don't actually believe. When you have nothing to believe in, it's simple to say.
that's a generalization. when you believe in something (whether it be god or not) i would hope that you understand your beliefs enough to explain them clearly.
There is not unseen entity they have to explain and tell you to take it on 'faith' . There is no faith involved, so there explanation is logical and direct.
That is a pretty broad generalization. That is more of a personality trait than religious affiliation.
most likely because they are not investing emotion into the argument. If you value religon and adhere to it you are passionate about it. That passion makes you more suseptable to overstating your case, using metaphor, and getting all riled up. An atheist on the other hand would not be invested in religon and therefore would offer a reasoned and articulate argument. Less passion and certainly no hot button topics.
LOL. Not all of 'em.
THERE TRYING TO CONVINCE THEMSELVES.
How about this. If you had the ability to create life, would you create something that poops - everyday. Would you create something that kills somethings else so it can eat. Would you create something that absolutely needs water to survive and yet that thing that you created constantly pollutes the water making it undrinkable? Think about it.
';spamandham';just about covers it!
Because it comes from within and not a book, Its easy to be clear when its not covered in tradition and there not tying to convert you
Atheists belief: ';There is no God';.

That should answer your question.
Because an atheist flies in the face of what society preaches. To say that there is a God can be based on the usual answers (faith, Bible, etc.), but atheism is something which is only come to after considering, and rejecting, a monotheistic (or polytheist) viewpoint. If you spend that much time arriving at your viewpoint, you usually can break it down easily and clearly simply because you spent so much time building it up.
because they know fully well thier own beliefs and dont need all the bible schools and stuff to be sure of the right answer.
THEY ARE DRIVEN TO OPPOSE RIGHT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT CHOSEN

RIGHT

CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE. CHOOSE LIFE CHOOSE GOD

AND IF YOU MAKE NO CHOICE YOU CHOOSE EVIL
A atheist lacks faith ...
