Well when i was your age Neutrogena in the blue jar worked for me aswell as stridex pads.Make sure you clean your face really well with warm water and rinse with cold. It worked for me.What is the best acne product to clear terrible acne and reduce pore size? 10 points for best answer?
I have the same problem...I get spots/pimple clusters and even when they go, they leave reddish marks for ages and my skin looks blotchy and (even though I'm 35), kinda hormonal!
I use clean and clear or neutrogena clear skin - both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too.
Any female with spots I'd recommend trying dianette or yasmin contraceptive pills because if it's hormonal, that can sort out you within weeks!
Also I'd recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex and Omega 369 oils every day because that ensures you're getting the right nutrition and also, the omega oils improve blood flow.
Another suggestion is the scrub you can get called 'resurface' or something from L'oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out.
And my final suggestion is 'sheer cover' mineral foundation. You see it on infomercials a lot...tacky I know! But it really works. You can buy it on eBay too so it's easy for you to get some to try it out. You use the tiniest amount but because it doesn't settle into enlarged pores and it contains minerals that reflect light, it disguises any kind of 'scarring' and also it stops you getting spots because it doesn't block pores. The minerals in it reflect light a bit too which acts as a kind of concealer. It's hard to explain but it's fantastic. Just make sure not to use too much - and apply with a kabuki brush starting from the outside and working in so you don't end up with an over made up nose!
I know people say make up's a no no - but because this doesn't block pores and has the added effect of stopping you touching your face too much, I think it's good. You can wear it on its own too and as long as you apply it minimally, it covers but doesn't look like you've got make up on.
Good luck with it hun XX
The cheapest way to fight acne.
Your acne is cause by your oily skin. Bacteria loves oily skin. Wash your face three times a day with only warm water. If you don't have access to a sink, use a tissue paper to dry your skin (gently patting it on your skin to soak up all the oil).
For spot treatments, wash (with only warm water) and dry your face then use an unscented alcohol base hand sanitizer (like germ-x) on the spot.
I will say this... the types of food you eat don't affect your acne, unless of course you touch greasy food and wipe it all over your face! I am 13 too and have used many many many face products and nothing really worked either. Clean and Clear DOES NOT do the job.
For the face wash, I use Biore's pore unclogging scrub. You can get it at Walgreens, Walmart, Target... anywhere! And I also recently discovered The Body Shop's tea tree face/ body line. I love it! It really works! I could never find anything that worked until now. Get the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner and the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion (it's very important to moisturize!). It costs 2 for $18.
Anyways, I wash my face 2-3 times a day. Once in the morning, sometimes after school, and at night before I go to bed. Some products may not work for all people, so even though I highly reccomend these products, they still may not work for you.
well, i use this stuff on my face called Dermalogica, its really good at clearing up spots and acne. i used to be really conscious about my spots but now they have cleared up alot and i only get breakouts like 1 every two months? you can buy Dermalogica from the internet and for some reason, some hair salons sell it too, and by the way, i used it every night for about 2 months before there were any signs of improvement, and it took atleast 6 months to clear them all up :) hope this helps x
first, make sure you wash your hair cuz cgreasy hair can help cause it.

Shea Moisture's African Black Soap is purifying, gentle, and really clears up skin. Plus, you can use it on both your face and body. You can find it at Target or online. http://www.sheamoisture.com/products/pro鈥?/a>
Another great soap for both your face and body is Dr. Bronner's Hemp Peppermint Liquid Castile Soap. The formulation of this soap is beautiful; it keeps skin clear without being drying, and it literally makes your skin tingly-clean and fresh. You can find Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps at most health food stores or online. http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/PEP.htm
A combination of these two products keeps my skin absolutely clear.
Oh, and donate your used toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel, and soap)! I was thinking that you might want to check out Clean The World ( http://www.cleantheworld.org ) and perhaps send the remnants of your used toiletries to them via Central Care Mission. I'm a big fan of fun bath products, but any that don't suit my fancy, or the last bits of the soap bars, get sent to them to help prevent disease and death in Third World countries.

Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Complete Acne Therapy System. It claims to work ';Better than ProActive'; (sorry, can't confirm that because I've never tried ProActive.) That's what I use and it works great. You can get it online, from TV, or at Target and other stores.
