Second traffic school did not clear second point (CA)?

I had made the unfortunate mistake of getting two points within weeks of each other, after lengthy court proceedings, TBDs, and a whole lot of time wasting, I was found guilty of both offenses. Luckily I was able to get a second traffic school per 41501(a) ; however when I checked with the DMV they said I still had a point and that the second traffic school did not clear it.

What was the point of taking my time, and spending my money, on a second traffic school if it does not accomplish anything? Is there any way I can clear this point?Second traffic school did not clear second point (CA)?
You can only attend traffic school once during a specified period of time. The minimum is once every 18 months, and as much as once every 5 years (Kern County) depending on which court jurisdiction your case is heard in.

While it is true that you can attend as many traffic school classes as you are willing to pay for, and can receive a ';Certificate of Completion'; from each, and even if a judge orders you to attend a second traffic school, the DMV will only accept one every 18 months. Most courts or court forms offering traffic school ask the question ';Have you attended Traffic School in the past 18 months';.

Don't feel too bad. If you were holding a Class ';A'; or ';B'; commercial license you would be prohibited from attending traffic school.Second traffic school did not clear second point (CA)?
You can show proof of completion of traffic school. The traffic school would've either sent the certificate to DMV, or they would've sent you the certificate by mail. If none of these happened, you can call the traffic school and request another certificate. The DMV will then remove the infraction.

BTW, unusual that they gave you the opportunity to go to traffic school twice in that amount of time. If I'm correct, you can expunge an infraction with traffic school once every 18 months. Kudos.
